The penthouse occupies the fifth floor of a converted factory in Old Street. 360° terrace access wraps the space with skyline views. Smart lighting runs on 256 RGB presets, letting you set the room to your brand colours, shift from daylight warmth to evening atmosphere, or move between moods as the programme changes. The 3.5 m ceiling height gives the room a sense of destination that lower-ceilinged venues cannot replicate.

This is not a hotel ballroom. There is a strong sense of privacy on arrival and no fluorescent-lit corridor between the lift and the room. Guests arrive through the building entrance, take the lift up, and step directly into the event space. The experience begins at the door.

Why this space works for Events

The goods lift handles everything an event build requires, from staging and floristry to AV equipment, catering supplies, and furniture. Early access from 7 am is available as an add-on for complex set-builds. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, and preparation surfaces, so it supports professional catering service rather than simple reheating.

The terrace transforms a drinks reception. 35 m² of private outdoor space with unobstructed views across the London skyline. Modular outdoor furniture is provided. The terrace connects directly to the main event space through wide openings, so guests move between inside and outside without bottlenecks. At golden hour, the terrace is the room.

Practical information

Capacity: up to 30 guests. Seated layouts are confirmed to the brief; standing events make use of the terrace for natural spillover without overcrowding.

Standard hire runs until 10 pm. Music and amplified sound should be kept at a considerate level after that time, as the building is residential above the penthouse floor. Late checkout is available at £120 per hour for events that require additional pack-down or wrap time. The building remains accessible.

Caterers, AV suppliers, florists, and event production teams access the space via the goods lift from ground level. The service entrance is separate from the guest entrance. Deliveries can arrive from the morning of the event. A logistics brief with access instructions, timings, and supplier protocol is shared with every confirmed booking.

Yes. You are free to use any caterer. The kitchen is fully equipped for professional food preparation and service, with oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, preparation surfaces, and tableware.
