The industrial architecture reads on camera the way a white-box studio cannot. Exposed brick, raw concrete, steel beams, and arched windows give depth, texture, and tonal range to every frame, without set dressing, art direction, or a production designer. The space provides the visual grammar. Your team provides the story.

The goods lift takes full production loads directly to the fifth floor. A private entrance means no risk of members of the public walking into frame. These are the logistics that determine whether a shoot day runs smoothly or burns an hour before the first take.

Why this space works for Film & Video

Sound isolation comes from the building itself. On the fifth floor, street noise is softened by the building's elevation and structure. The concrete floor produces no resonance or vibration from neighbouring spaces. Production crews regularly record clean dialogue and voiceover here without additional soundproofing. The ceiling speaker system is available for playback during performance-heavy or music-driven shoots.

The smart lighting system covers the full space with RGB and tunable white, controllable via a single app. This simplifies colour grading considerations because what you see on set is what arrives in post. HDMI and USB-C connections are available at multiple positions for client monitor feeds and live review. The 1 Gbps Wi-Fi supports real-time footage transfer, remote client sessions, and cloud-based editing workflows.

Practical information

A detailed access plan and layout brief are shared with your booking confirmation so your departments can plan setup, monitor positions, and movement through the space in advance.

The structural steel beams are available for lightweight rigging, up to 15 kg per point, subject to a pre-production assessment. Clamps, safety cables, and basic rigging hardware are available on request. For heavier loads, freestanding truss or overhead frame solutions work within the 3.5 m ceiling height.

Production vehicles can park within a two-minute walk, with dedicated loading access at ground level via the goods lift. The nearest NCP car park is a five-minute walk. The building address and vehicle access instructions are shared after booking confirmation.

We needed a London location for a three-camera interview setup with fast turnarounds between talent. The 63A power meant zero compromises on lighting, and the fifth-floor setting gave us clean audio without additional soundproofing.
